With the profound adjustment of the social structure and the gradual change of government functions, the social and public management affairs of our country have been greatly increased. In recent years, under the "baton" of the guidance of public satisfaction and work performance, the pressure of public servants has been greatly improved. As a direct implementer and executor of national policies and guidelines, the pressure of township cadres in China is enormous. The existing research shows that moderate work pressure is conducive to the improvement of individual work performance, while too much work pressure may damage individual physical and mental health, and then have a negative impact on job performance. Therefore, how to rationally adjust the pressure level of cadres in villages and towns is a very important realistic problem for managers at all levels. In order to solve the above problems, this paper introduces the regulatory focus theory into the relationship between work stress and work performance of cadres in the township. And put forward the corresponding management suggestions for decompression and efficiency.Through the empirical study, this paper draws the following conclusions:1)There are significant differences in work pressure, regulatory focus and work performance among the some cadres;2)The dimensions of work pressure and regulatory focus have the corresponding positive enhancement and reverse weakening effect on the dimensions of work performance;3)Regulatory focus have partial moderate influence during the relationship between work pressure and work performance. Finally, this paper summarizes the results and discusses causes of the above empirical research, and puts forward the corresponding management suggestions accordingly.
