With the global sub-prime crisis in the United States in 2008,the global real economy has been hit hard.After this crisis,a consensus reached by the international community is that the protection of the rights and interests of financial consumers is very important to the health and stability of the financial industry.Protection of the rights and interests of financial institutions should be placed in the forefront.As a special consumer group,financial consumers have this particularity reflected in the intangibility and professionalism of the goods and services they accept.In China,the increasing living standards of residents in recent years have also made China's financial consumer market enter a new stage of vigorous development.The financial innovation products launched by financial institutions have met the market demand on the one hand,and on the other hand,financial consumers have not strengthened their understanding and learning of financial information in financial markets,and financial institutions have become the main players in market participation and their interests.The chasing characteristics lead to internal staff often falsely telling or concealing important information behaviors for personal performance and the market share of the bank,so as to induce trading partners to blindly consume and damage their rights.In 2015,the “Guidance Opinion on Strengthening the Protection of Financial Consumers' Rights”of the General Office of the State Council pointed out that the right to information is one of the eight types of rights of financial consumers.The reason is that the right to information is the most fundamental right in the rights of financial consumers.The degree of protection and respect directly affects the complete realization of the other seven types of rights.
