With the deepening development of the reform of the political system and the growing number of the civil service,the problems of the civil servants at the county level are gradually exposed,affecting the administrative efficiency of the government.This thesis uses relevant incentive theory to conduct a study of the civil service incentive mechanism in Nanzhang county,in order to explore a path of improving the civil service incentive mechanism in Nanzhang county.Taking the civil servants of the government of Nanzhang county as the research object,this thesis starts from the status quo of the civil servants to carry on research on the civil service incentive mechanism in Nanzhang county by using methods such as literature research,analysis,induction and interviewing.Firstly,this paper introduces the background,purpose,meaning and approaches and content of this research.It also introduces the concepts of the motivation,incentive mechanism and the civil servants at the county level.This paper summarizes the research outcomes at home and abroad,expounds the related theory of incentives,so as to provide itself a theoretical foundation and basis.Then,it takes the civil servants of the government of Nanzhang county as an example to analyze the current situation and existing problems of the civil-servant-related incentive mechanism in Nanzhang county.It discovers that the incentive system is weak and has insufficient incentive methods,lack of career planning,and the main reasons therein are old-fashioned concepts of incentive,lack of incentive environment restriction and supervision mechanism.Finally,based on the civil servant reality of Nanzhang county,using related incentive theory,provide the solutions: Setup better incentive systems,try a more reasonable compensation system,improve the assessment system,and standardize the system of rewards and penalties;Use a variety of incentives methods scientifically.Use good incentive conceptions to incentivize fairness and justice,people-oriented,bold innovation,dare to be first.At the same time,pay attention to career planning,implementation the comprehensive compensation management.In addition,set up the monitoring system so that the incentive system works well for the county level government and let the incentive mechanism full play the important role.
