Township civil servant is a special social group; its performance directly affects the level of government performance level, but also related to the government’s image quality and credibility of the government. In the construction of rule of law, service type government immediately, the importance of improving the performance of township civil servants is self-evident. And the incentive mechanism is one of the most effective measures to enhance the performance of township civil servants, compensation incentive is an important way in which the. Long-term since, Cangnan County ignores the role of incentive compensation to improve the performance of township civil servants, so that township civil servants often appear slack work, lazy style, for people’s needs to pay no heed of the phenomenon, has seriously affected the overall image and credibility of the government. Therefore, discusses the civil service incentive mechanism, is of great practical significance and value.Based on the definition of the core concepts of salary, incentive, incentive, incentive pay, township civil servant incentive and so on, analyzes the hierarchy of needs theory, two-factor theory, expectancy theory, reinforcement theory, equity theory to the construction of civil servants incentive mechanism of township inspiration.
