Study On The Group's Work Intervening In The Emotional Needs Of The Rural Left-behind Old People

With the acceleration of China's urbanization process and the rise of rural youth workers entering the city,a series of problems with rural left-behind people have arisen.Since children are working outside the home all the year round,the rural left-behind elderly lack emotional support from their children,and their sense of loneliness and loneliness are strong.Through investigation and research on the basic situation and emotional needs of left-behind elderly people in Wuzhuang Village,the author aims to solve the problems in their emotional needs,improve their mental state,and build a mutual help network for the left-behind elderly with Wuzhuang Village's own characteristics.First of all,through the method of questionnaire survey and interview method,the author investigates and analyzes the left-behind elderly in Wuzhuang Village in terms of cultural education level,source of living expenses,physical health status and living style.The social statistics software SPSS20.0 is used to analyze the frequency and value of the data.The left-behind elderly in Wuzhuang Village have emotional needs in terms of health and safety,cultural and recreational activities,emotional support,interpersonal communication,respect and self-realization.Secondly,the author uses the theory of demand hierarchy and social support theory as the guide,and uses the practical methods of group work to intervene in the emotional needs of the left-behind elderly.Through the four group activities with the theme of "You and I First Know","Accepting Self-Responsive Release","Uniting and Mutual Aid-Sharing Happiness",and "Don't Say Goodbye-Enjoy the Old Year" to Meet the Elderly in Wuzhuang Village In terms of emotional needs,the construction of an emotional support network for rural left-behind elderly people.Finally,the results of the group work and the effect of the group work on the emotional needs of the left-behind elderly were evaluated using the pre-and post-test methods.Studies have shown that rural left-behind elderly people have problems with emotional needs.The government and rural communities lack support for the emotional needs of left-behind elderly people.They can use the methods of group work to meet the emotional needs of rural left-behind elderly people and build a social support network for them.
