Evaluation Of Social Security Performance In Urumqi City

Social security system bears on the immediate interests of the all the social citizen.Urumqi is located in the frontier of the motherland,and the strategic position is very important.It has strong representative in the northwest region.Since the reform and opening,Urumqi has made significant achievements and the overall performance is better.It has basically played an important role in social safety nets and regulator.With Economic and social development and progress,the social security of Urunqi is constantly facing challenges.In order to ensure the smooth development of social security,it is increasingly important to evaluate social security performance.The evaluation of social security performance should be conducted scientifically and rationally.This study selects quantitative research as the breakthrough point,using principal component analysis and data envelopment analysis.At the same time,the paper is selected evaluation index of social security and built a performance evaluation index system.Then it is analyzed the social security performance of Urumqi from 2003 to 2015,and analyzed the status of social security in Urumqi from 2003 to 2015.According to the research conclusion,the problems existing in social security in Urumqi are found and the Suggestions are put forward.This article is composed of six parts.The first part introduces the background,research significance and current status of research in China and abroad;the second part elaborates on the concepts and the basic theories of the research;In the third part,the social security performance evaluation index system of Urumqi was constructed,and the relative reasonable indexes were selected for further study.The fourth part about the present situation of the current social security system construction in Urumqi are expounded and the running status of social security in Urumqi in 2003-2015 has carried on the qualitative analysis.The fifth part of Urumqi city social security performance is evaluated,applying PCA-DEA model to measure the size of the social security performance in Urumqi from 2003 to 2015,and comes to the conclusion.Finally,based on the research conclusion,this paper is analyzed the deficiency of the present social security work in Urumqi and put forward some countermeasures.
