With the rapid development of human society,the progressive increase in social productivity has brought about more and more serious urban environmental pollution problems.In recent years,China's economic level has been continuously improved,and the demand for car purchase by residents has been strong.In 2018,the number of motor vehicles in the country reached 327 million.At present,the problem of motor vehicle pollution has become increasingly prominent,and it has gradually become an important source of air pollution.Emissions have become the primary source of PM2.5.Zhengzhou is an important central city in central China,an important national transportation hub,a trade and logistics center,and one of the major cities in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei.On December 3,2017,the Zhengzhou Municipal Government issued a strict motor vehicle single and double number limit announcement,and strictly enforced the traffic police department to implement it.This public policy involves the real life of millions of people in Zhengzhou City.Discussions,street and street talks have aroused widespread concern in public opinion and academic circles.In the face of this policy that has an important impact on the lives and travel of the general public in Zhengzhou,this paper focuses on the main content and purpose of this public policy,and evaluates its effects on transportation,air quality,public transportation,etc.It has caused negative problems such as increased vehicle ownership and increased social costs,and further proposed countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of motor vehicle environmental supervision and Zhengzhou city traffic structure.
