Research On The Intervention Of Social Work In Rural Community Governance

The research topic of this paper is the social work involved in the governance of rural communities and the problems that arise.Based on the current research on community governance,this paper focuses on rural communities.The rural community is located in a remote geographical location,away from the wave of urban economic and cultural development,and has a short development time,lack of governance experience,and inadequate governance system.Therefore,this type of community still faces many problems in the development process,like residents' thinking.The concept is conservative,residents' willingness to participate in community governance is weak,cultural supply is insufficient,community organization is not perfect,and economic development is backward.All of these have brought great difficulties to the governance of rural communities,and thus the governance tasks of rural communities have become the top priority of the current rural governance.The paper expounds the relationship between social work and community governance: social work and community governance have similarities in work methods,consistency in goal achievement,and social work involved in rural community governance is conducive to improving rural communities.Self-control ability,promoting the integration and utilization of community resources,coupled with the support of national policies,provide the necessity and feasibility for social work to intervene in rural community governance.Taking the D village of L County in Jiangxi Province as an example,the social workers have launched a series of social work services,such as setting up squares,in view of the old-fashioned ideological and cultural concepts,monotonous cultural life,imperfect community organization and backward economic development.Dancing dance teams,conducting community cultural evenings and watermelon festivals,and setting up resident study groups to meet the needs of residents.Social work involved in the governance practice of the D community not only achieved a series of results,but also had some problems.Among them,the old ideas and ideas were significantly changed,the cultural life was enriched and improved,the social organization construction was standardized,and the community economicself-hematopoietic function was obtained.Enhanced.The problem is that the social work project system is “re-emergence,light effect”,social work institutions and professional social work talents are lacking,social work services and community management functions are crossed,lack of effective cooperation between different forces,and insufficient social organization service capabilities.These have greatly reduced the effectiveness of social work after providing services.In view of the problems arising in the practice of community governance,the author proposes some constructive suggestions for social work intervention in rural community management from the four levels of government promotion,community collaboration,social worker participation,and social organization.Rural community governance practices provide some reference.
