Study On The Urban Management Of A District Government In Anyang City, Henan Province

Cities are the symbol of modern civilization,the center of politics,economy,culture,science and trade.They play a leading role in the development of national economy and society.Under the background of the establishment and improvement of the socialist market economy system,urban management is a concept of urban development that was spread and widely studied in China in the 1990 s.Urban management is the concept and behavior of the urban government to implement market-oriented operations on urban resources,assets,and funds in accordance with development plans,optimize public services,and improve the overall functions,service capabilities,and comprehensive competitiveness of the city.This concept plays an important role in activating urban resources,raising cities with cities,and building cities with cities.However,in the current "urban management fever",many operators still have a certain narrow understanding of urban management,and simply seek to maximize economic benefits and show disadvantages.For example,the emphasis on economic development rather than the people's livelihood,the lack of supply of urban public facilities;the emphasis on GDP figures rather than ecological environment,the urban environment is difficult to be satisfactory,and the livability is reduced;The emphasis on "urban" rather than "urban and rural",the dual characteristics of urban and rural areas are increasingly obvious,and so on.Therefore,how to achieve the high quality development of the city through management means puts forward theoretical and realistic needs for urban Management research.This article first collected and studied a large number of domestic and foreign literature on urban management,made a review and appraisal,and combed out the basis of urban management theory,put forward views on the concept,connotation,principles,and model analysis of urban management,and reconstructed the theoretical system.By combining case analysis with field investigation,dynamic analysis and static analysis,I selected Area A of Anyang City,which is relatively marginal,for investigation and analysis.Field visits and analysis of city management status,mode and strategy,management performance in district A,summarize successful experience,face up to existing problems,point out the misunderstanding of city management in district A,and analyze the root causes of the problems in depth.From the height of the strategy,I need to re-understand the value and orientation of urban management,optimize the design of the direction and development path of urban management,and combine the actual situation in Area A with the improvement of ideas and paths,and make up for weaknesses and weaknesses.I will promote the coordinated development of the urban economy,society,culture and nature,and seek a way to jointly build and share governance and promote high-quality urban development.
