Setting an unprecedented event in being the first member to exit from the European Union,Britain's exit sends an influx of concern from the international committee. The UK being a member of EU places match of a big deal to how it will establish a robust EU-UK cooperation in areas of security and defence. While the CSDP continues to expand its operation, the UK's exit will for sure place more pressure on the CSDP to fill in the gap in order to maintain its international influence. This research concludes that Brexit signals many challenges and implications which will further erupt as different policies are introduced each year.Thus,Mr.Lapsely an EU-UK representative has stated that it is up to the current government to develop a strategy that can help sustain UK's influence in the global system as well as establish an agreement that can foster strong measures in its security and defence.Cooperation in crisis management is fundamentally essential for both the UK and the EU since they share the same interest and values. Moreover, cooperation among states results in military efficiency. The European Union works in support of peacekeeping and conflict prevention and by building effective cooperation with the UK;it will enable both the EU and the UK to develop a common bilateral relationship. The Common Security and Defence Policy has been instrumental in the UK's foreign relations and played an essential role in the UK's influence in the global security. The establishment of the Common Security and Defence Policy has allowed many EU states to develop their capabilities and strengthen security in their state. Therefore, this research sheds light on the possibilities for closer cooperation between the EU and the United Kingdom under the Common Security and Defence Policy.Additionally, this research looks into how Britain's exit will impact the UK's security and defence sector in the long term.
