Research On Social Public Opinion In Ming Dynasty

Public opinion and human society live side by side and play an important role in the process of human history.Under different historical backgrounds,the manifestation and social impact of public opinion also show different characteristics.Ming Dynasty is a very distinctive dynasty,and also a special historical period with the trend of transformation.Its social public opinion also shows different characteristics from other dynasties.Therefore,the Ming government also attached importance to the use of education and administrative means to guide and control public opinion in order to resolve social contradictions.This paper takes the social public opinion of Ming Dynasty as the research object,and analyses the social public opinion of Ming Dynasty from four chapters.The first part,in-depth analysis of the historical origin and social background of public opinion in the Ming Dynasty,people's understanding of public opinion in the Ming Dynasty,and the concept of public opinion before the Ming Dynasty,so this chapter first discusses the concept and form of public opinion before the Ming Dynasty.In addition,to study and discuss the public opinion of an era,we must have a comprehensive grasp of the political,economic,cultural and other aspects of the era,so this chapter will also analyze the social background of the Ming Dynasty.The second part divides the public opinion of Ming Dynasty into official public opinion system and folk public opinion system according to the different environment of public opinion generation.The government of Ming Dynasty set up the general secretary,the official system and the residence newspaper as the official public opinion system,while the posters,rumors,proverbs,comments and books as the folk public opinion system.The third part studies the public opinion control of the Ming Dynasty government.Public opinion has a great influence on the development of society.In order to safeguard the sovereignty and the interests of the ruling class,the government will strictly control the public opinion which is not conducive to the rule.This chapter discusses the control measures of the Ming Dynasty government on public opinion from two aspects:ideological enlightenment before the formation of public opinion and crackdown after the formation of public opinion.The fourth part summarizes the characteristics of public opinion in Ming Dynasty.Due to the change of political system and the development of social economy,the public opinion in Ming Dynasty also showed the characteristics of diversity of subjects,diversity of carriers and stages of public opinion evolution.
