The Research On The Supply Of Basic Public Services In The Process Of In-Situ Urbanization

In-situ urbanization taking small towns as the carrier in the process of new-type urbanization will become a new accelerator promoting urbanization in China.There is an important connection and special relationship between in-situ urbanization and basic public services.For a long time,great achievements have been made in the supply of basic public services in small towns.However,problems still exist at different levels and in different links,which fails to effectively guarantee people to share the achievements of social development and restricts the promotion of new-type urbanization.By taking Q Town of Huai'an City as the case,this paper first evaluates the supply status of basic public services in the process of in-situ urbanization of this town from two aspects of objective government supply and subjective residents' satisfaction,compares objective supply situation with corresponding standard and discovers three problems existing in the supply of basic public services in Q Town in the in-situ urbanization process based on subjective satisfaction and demand,and the three problems include insufficient total supply,unbalanced supply structure and non-unification between quality and quantity.Secondly,this paper conducts the in-depth analysis of causes or problems existing in the supply of basic public services in Q Town from several angles.Finally,this paper puts forward countermeasures and ideas for solving problems,aiming to improve the supply level of basic public services and promote the construction of in-situ urbanization.
