Research On The Causes Of Employment Dilemma And Employment Security Measures For Visual Disabled People

As a special group,people with disabilities need extra attention from the society.Similar to others,employment is the basis of their livelihood.Therefore,it is an important mission for the state to accelerate the process of providing well-off conditions for the disabled.As a special sub-group of the disabled,the visually impaired people need more attention from professionals in terms of their employment situation.For a long time,problems,such as the narrow employment channel and obstacles,have been plaguing and affecting the employment level of visually impaired people.This paper focuses on the employment dilemma of visually impaired people,and aims to improve their employment level by broadening the employment channel improving the employment security system for the disabled.The study adopts a combination of qualitative and quantitative analyses.Through literature review and the analysis on the data collected using the Beijing Visually Impaired Employment Survey Questionnaire,it is found that there are various problems with the current employment of visually impaired people,including insufficient facilities for physical and mental rehabilitation,the lack of government involvement and the inadequate social integration atmosphere.In addition,the employment dilemma of visually impaired people is mainly caused by two factors: their own restrictions and the lack of external help.Finally,this paper puts forward some suggestions to solve the employment problems of the visually disabled from the three levels of government,society and individuals.Among them,the employment security policy at the government level is the most important,which plays an irreplaceable role in solving the employment problems of visually disabled people.At the same time,the awareness of people from all walks of life should be raised in terms of the employment of visually disabled people.The public should help visually impaired people be confident in fitting in the society and create a social environment of harmonious integration.
