Practical Exploration Of Community Residents' Proceedings Model And Community Identity Construction

With the deepening of China's reform and opening-up and the acceleration of urbanization,great changes have taken place in urban structure and social professional structure.In the process of the gradual disintegration of the unit system,urban residents have a poor sense of identity with the community,and the community is facing the danger of decline.In order to maintain social stability,respond to the call of the state to innovate grass-roots party building,realize the benign development of the community and rebuild the acquaintance society,various parts of the country have begun to establish community consultation and deliberation modes such as residents' conference halls and community residents' meetings,which have certain ceremonial nature and enable residents to attach importance to and participate actively.Literature review and community practice show that residents' autonomous participation in community deliberations has a certain role in promoting the formation of community identity.This paper takes the case of H community in Beijing as an example to study how the community residents' deliberation mode disseminates and constructs the sense of community identity.Based on the theory of communicative rituals,it combines participation observation,interview survey and literature research.The survey found that the community residents' deliberation mode has such ceremonial elements as fixity,publicity and system,which provides a strong guarantee for gathering members and completing ceremonial activities.Various types of communication run through the whole process of ceremonial activities.In the process,residents realize the recognition of community identity,the construction of community goals and the identification of self-values and emotions,thus forming a sense of community identity.At present,community councils are exploring and developing,and community governance has some effects,but there are still problems.
