Design And Implementation Of Police Geographic Information System

Most of the traditional police software systems launch their activities as requests,At present,there are more than 2 million police in China,which have composed the largest group of civil servants.The institution of police has been divided into four levels of system,which including the ministry of public security,public security department,city public security bureau and county public security bureau.According to the varieties of police,the whole system can also been divided into management of public security,management of people,management of departure and entry,national security,economic investigation,criminal investigation,etc.Based on the differences between varieties and system,all regions have established many kinds of application systems.But,these application systems have many problems such as overlap,closed data,single function,too many lists and different standards,which cause the waste of resources.As a relatively developed city and the IOT base of China,Wuxi has come up with higher requirements to informatization of public security,and to science and technology level.In order to achieve better resource integration and more effective public security work,the Public Security Bureau of Wuxi has designed a system with local characteristics: Police Geographic Information System(PGIS).PGIS realizes the combination of public security application system and police map,shows the public security business system directly.PGIS also provides the necessary support to public stability,resources allocation,quick response,crime fighting,security protection and scientific decision-making.This paper is mainly about the research and practice of PGIS,at the point of design application.During our research,we included all police business system of Public Security Bureau of Wuxi on PGIS,and we also made a targeted environmental test.At present,PGIS has been put into practical application and achieved nice effect.This paper has many innovation works as follows:1.It combines the actual conditions of public security work in Wuxi and characteristics of PGIS,puts forward the Flex grid map service.Compared with ordinary Web application,this new technology is much better in security,sensitivity,operability and visual effect.2.A solution which associated address matching and geographical correlation has been found based on the need of public security business system and PGIS.This could play a key role when the effect of enhancing is needed.3.It shows the effect of PGIS by the period of using and practicing.It also can provide better service to our people,and make better effect.This paper makes examples such as cases,video monitoring,human-house associated relationship and many relevant application module to show the important meaning of PGIS.This paper also makes detailed analyses to the system's requirements,development,structure,implementation and testing.According to the practical effect of PGIS,the thought and practice provided from this paper have made important impacts to this system's design and implementation.
