The trade union is a mass organization of the working class that the employees voluntarily combine and is the bridge link between the party and the masses.The 17 th National Congress of the Chinese Trade Union determines that "protecting the legitimate rights and interests of employees and serving the employees wholeheartedly" is the basic duty of the Chinese trade unions.This is the basic responsibility of the Chinese trade union organizations.New developments in the new era.With the development of economy and society,especially in a new era,the improvement of the social governance system,the continuous optimization and upgrading of the economic structure,and the growing awareness of the rule of law in the country have brought many opportunities for the trade unions to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of employees,and they also face many challenges.To meet these challenges,trade union organizations need to continuously improve the quality and level of their rights protection services,and effectively enhance the sense of acquisition,happiness,and security of the employees.The Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps(hereinafter referred to as "Corps")is a special social organization that is implemented by the state.It implements the system of unity of government,government,and enterprises.It manages its internal administrative and judicial affairs in accordance with the laws and regulations of the State and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in its jurisdiction.The Corps trade unions work under this special system,but the basic duties of safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of employees and serving the workers and staff are not special.On the contrary,the special system requires higher work for the trade unions organization of the Corps,and at the same time as carrying out all the common things of the Chinese trade unions.It is also necessary to take into account the special requirements of the military group system.At present,the Corps is carrying out deepening institutional reforms.The trade unions organized as a group organization are also undergoing comprehensive reforms.How can the reform of the Corps trade unions organization adapt to the reform of the entire situation of theCorps,and how to better safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of workers in the reform is worth considering.Based on the characteristics and experience of domestic and foreign research on the rights protection mechanism of trade unions,this paper makes a study on the status quo of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers of the XPCC trade unions,taking into account the requirements of trade union organizations and the actual situation of military trade unions in the new situation.Based on the present situation of the corps and the knowledge of trade union work,this paper puts forward some optimization measures from the aspects of improving the understanding of trade union functions,innovating the working system and strengthening the management of trade unions.
