With the acceleration of population aging, health and longevity have attracted more and more attention under the background of "healthy aging" and "active aging".In 2017,the State Council issued the 13 th Five-Year Plan for the Development of National Ageing Career and the Construction of the Pension System, which clearly put forward the need to promote healthy aging.Professor Wu,a Chinese scholar, put forward that "healthy aging" was similar to the traditional meaning of " health and longevity " in China, which was reflected not only in the improvement of life expectancy of the elderly, but also in the improvement of the quality of life among the elderly in his theme report "Scientific and Social Meanings of Healthy Aging".In 2002,the Active Aging: A Policy Framework report formed by the World Health Organization(WHO)put forward three main points of active ageing: health, participation and security.Health indicates that two risk factors, chronic diseases and functional decline, remain at a low level, and the life expectancy and quality of life of the elderly can be improved greatly.Security indicates that the state provides the elderly with the support they need when they are in a disadvantaged state. It can be seen that it's a consensus at home and abroad to mobilize the whole social forces to meet the needs of the elderly, improve the quality of life of the elderly under the background of the increase of the elderly population and the sharp increase of the number of oldest old, empty nest elderly and disabled elders.Under such a background of research, this paper studies the relationship between social support and quality of life using the tracking data of CLHLS.The article's independent variables include three dimensions of social support, they are emotional support, economic support and daily care. The dependent variables include the quality of life and mortality of the elderly. The quality of life is measured by self-assessment of health, mental health and life satisfaction. It is expected to find out the social support factors that influence the quality of life through research.Specifically,we use logistic model to empirically analyze the net impact of emotional support, economic support and daily care on the self-rated health, mental health and life satisfaction of elderly people's quality of life with base data. The results show that:(1)Emotional support from children and social activities significantly affects the quality of life of the elderly in China.(2)Economic support significantly affects the quality of life of the elderly in China.Children's financial support is conducive to improving the quality of life of the elderly in the dimension of the mental health and satisfaction,Pension has a positive impact on the self-rated health, mental health and life satisfaction of the elderly.(3)Daily care services significantly affect the quality of life of the elderly in China.Family care and social care can improve the quality of life of the elderly in the dimension of mental health and satisfaction.Accordingly, this paper gives some suggestions on the construction of emotional support, economic support and daily care service support.(1)emotional support: carrying forward the culture of filial piety, inheriting the virtues of respecting and loving the elderly;reducing the burden of intergenerational care, encouraging the elderly to actively participate in social activities;strengthening the construction of community sports facilities, and building a service system of spiritual comfort.(2)Economic support: Enhancing the ability of economic support in family and raising the willingness of children's economic support;Enhancing rural security to narrow the gap between urban and rural security;Encouraging the elderly to reemploy and enhancing their capabilities of self-economic support;(3)Daily care services: vigorously developing rural industrial economy, creating conditions for working near home;Reducing burdens of family care to improve the quality;Establishing a positive pension concept and implement the system of "time banking " for the elderly.
