A Study Of The Influence Of Social Support On The Quality Of Life Of Rural Left-Behind Elderly

Since the 21 st century,the problem of population aging has become one of the major social problems in China.There are several obvious characteristics in China's aging,including the large number of elderly people,rapid growth,significant regional differences,and obvious aging trends.With the implementation of family planning in China and the growing life expectancy of the population,the problem of left-behind elderly people has become more serious.Coupled with the long-term urban-rural dual structure,the rural youth labor force has continuously poured into the city,and the problem of rural staying is becoming more serious.The rural left-behind elderly in China generally face problems,such as low economic income,poor physical condition,lack of life care,lack of spiritual comfort,and low level of old-age security.Therefore,it needs the common concern of the whole society,to solve the problem of old-age care for the elderly left behind in rural areas.This paper takes H Town of Mianyang City as the research location,takes the rural left-behind elderly as the research object,and uses the questionnaire survey method to study the impact of social support on the quality of life of the rural left-behind elderly.First of all,the background,significance and main innovations of this paper are summarized.Secondly,it reviews the relationship between rural left-behind elderly,social support,quality of life,social support and quality of life,and defines the concepts of rural left-behind elderly,quality of life,and quality of life of rural left-behind elderly.The ecosystem theory was analyzed.Thirdly,through the questionnaire survey of rural left-behind elderly people in H Town,Mianyang City,this paper analyzes the status quo of social support and quality of life of rural left-behind elderly people.On this basis,it analyzes the relationship between social support and quality of life.The SPSS24.0 software was used to conduct t test,correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis on the questionnaire data,and to screen out the key factors affecting the quality of life of the rural left-behind elderly.Finally,combined with the theory of ecosystems,it puts forward suggestions for improving the quality of life of rural left-behind elderly people.From the three perspectives of policy,community and family,it elaborates how to improve the quality of life of rural left-behind elderly.
