A Tudy On The Quality Of Life Of The Elderly Left Behind In Rural Areas Of Enshi, Hubei Province

Since the Reform and Opening-up,China's economy is growing rapidly and the national economy ranked second in the world.With the acceleration of urbanization,a large number of labor force from the countryside to the city and a large number of rural left behind elderly.At the same time,since the reform and opening up of China's export-oriented economic development needs,a large number of rural labor force in the central and western regions to the southeast coastal cities,rural left behind in the central and western rural areas more serious problem.There are a large number of social problems,including the old man without support,the lack of spiritual life,the elderly crime rate,etc..To solve the rural elderly pension problem is not only directly related to the elderly in the Midwest is the improvement of the living standard,but also the Party led the people "toensure that by 2020 all the poor areas and poor into a well-off society important task.This article is based on this background,select the Enshi Prefecture of Hube Province as the research location,on Enshi rural left behind elderly life quality problems,and according to the state of Enshi rural left behind the plight of the elderly to put forward specific measures to resolve,to enrich the research on the related problems.In order to study the quality of life of the elderly in Enshi,based on the "social support network theory,Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory" and "Socialization theory of the aged",the writer used the quantitative and qualitative research methods to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the rural area of Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture Hubei Province in the quality of life for the elderly.A total of 210 copies of the "Enshi rural quality of life of the elderly" effective questionnaire and targeted selection of rural left behind elderly people in the field of 10 interviews.The author combined with questionnaire and interviews from four aspects at home and abroad research on quality of life(income,health status,life care and psychological comfort)in-depth understanding of Enshi rural living status of the elderly left behind and facing a variety of difficulties,then analyzes the reasons behind the plight of the elderly in rural areas of Enshi from many angles.Through the research,found that the reasons include the following five points:one is that the urban and rural areas and the development of the social security system is not balanced;the two is the limitation of the rural cooperative medical system itself is;the three is that children give their parents too little financial support;four is the land revenue protection capacity continues to decline;five is the basis for the construction of cultural facilities in rural areas is weak.At last,the author puts forward the concrete measures for the political,economic and cultural status of the investigated area.One is to the development of Enshi rural economy,adjusting the industrial structure of the region;the two is to improve the facilities for the aged in Enshi area;three is to enrich the spiritual and cultural life of the elderly;four is to increase the poverty-stricken areas of poverty alleviation measures,improve the elderly community support;the five is to perfect the relevant laws and regulations,improve law enforcement level;the six is to change the traditional idea of the elderly support,take the initiative to improve their quality of life.
