Research On The Pragmatic Cooperation Of Anti-Terrorism Police Between China And ASEAN Countries Under The Belt And Road

The Belt and Road Initiative is of great significance to the development of China and the world,and it is an important platform for China to promote multi-faceted cooperation with countries along the route.ASEAN countries are China's important partners for a long time and they also played an important role in this initiative.However,the ASEAN region is an active area of terrorist activities.Bali bombings,which happened in 2002,caused the world to pay attention to the terrorist threat in this region.The threat of terrorism has become an issue that cannot be ignored.Since the 21 st century,terrorist organizations have caused serious problems to many ASEAN countries and restricted local development.As one of the topics of current international heat debate,combating terrorism has been valued by many countries.China and ASEAN countries have also established some anti-terrorism cooperation,achieve some effects,but these cooperation still have many problems and cannot effectively solve the actual threat of terrorism.In view of the actual needs,China and ASEAN countries should further strengthen the pertinence and pragmatism of anti-terrorism cooperation.It is necessary to carry out and deepen the pragmatic cooperation of anti-terrorism police to ensure regional stability and maintain safe of the Belt and Road.This paper attempts to discuss the dilemma of the pragmatic cooperation of anti-terrorism police,which is started from the condition of ASEAN countries and also combine the current status of anti-terrorism cooperation.Finally,to response the the predicament and the current situation of terrorism threat between China and ASEAN countries,the path of pragmatic cooperation of anti-terrorism police between China and ASEAN countries is proposed in the context of the Belt and Road Initiative,namely,perfecting relevant law,strengthening cooperation of law enforcement team building,eliminate the cooperation obstacles of law enforcement,improve the willingness to law enforcement cooperate,build cooperation mechanism of law enforcement,and lay the foundation for law enforcement cooperation.This paper consists of five parts:The first chapter is the introduction.which include the main content: the research status,research methods and innovation;The second chapter is about the historical origin and connotation of the "Belt and Road",as well as the connotation and characteristics of the pragmatic cooperation of anti-terrorism police;The third chapter analyzes the current situation of terrorism threat in China and ASEAN countries,the present situation of anti-terrorism cooperation.In the analysis part,the seriousness of the current threat of terrorism in the Philippines,Thailand,Indonesia and Myanmar is highlighted and analyzed;The fourth chapter summarizes the dilemma of China and ASEAN countries who carry out the pragmatic cooperation of anti-terrorism police,and make a in-depth analysis of the specific causes of these dilemmas;The fifth chapter firstly discusses the necessity of deepening the pragmatic cooperation between China and ASEAN countries on anti-terrorism police under the Belt and Road,and then proposes a targeted and innovative cooperation path.
