With the deepening of reforms to streamline administration,delegate powers,and improve regulation and services,public service quality has been getting increased attention.The people-centered development thought makes governments pay more attention to “customers”,“service quality” and “customer satisfaction” in the administration.For implementing the public security reforms in the exit-entry administration department,and providing efficient and superior public service which meets the growing needs of the people for a better life,the public service of the exit-entry administration department becomes extremely important.The empirical research of evaluation for public service quality has been carried out in different fields,but there is no research in the exit-entry administration department.Therefore,this thesis selects the service quality of the exit-entry administration department as a case analysis,supported by the methodology of SERVQUAL within a questionnaire survey,to look for shortfalls during their service delivery.It is of great practical significance to improve the people satisfactions.With the help of SPSS app,the values and analysis are obtained from the 1071 valid questionnaires.The study finds,the applicants usually hold a high expectation value,and non-local residents hold lower than local residents;the actual perceptions are influenced by the fluency of delivery procedure and their expected service.Whether overcoming the obstacles and impediments once and for all is crucial to applicants and their perceptions,and the same goes for information consultation and preparation service,which have a potential impact on the actual evaluation.According the research,the present shortfalls of the Exit-Entry Administration Department are concluded and suggestions and measures are put forward which including establishing concept of public responsibility and fair service,exposure mechanism,interaction mechanism and public participation mechanism.
