Measures Of Suzhou Police Reform In The New Period And Effectiveness Analysis

China has entered a new era of deepening reform in an all-round way.As an important aspect of government reform,police reform has also been put on the agenda.As one of the most developed cities in the eastern coastal areas,Suzhou is facing more severe and complex social security and social management situation than most areas of our country,which poses new challenges to police work in Suzhou.The purpose of this paper is to discuss how to break through the situation of police work and police reform in Suzhou under the background of the new era,how to maximize the potential of the police force,how to maximize the construction of a harmonious relationship between the police and the people,and then to provide Suzhou experience for the comprehensive deepening of police reform in the new era.In the main part of this paper,firstly,it lists many problems existing in the policing work of Suzhou Public Security Bureau before the reform of policing in the new period,and makes a deep analysis of the causes of these problems.Then,the article introduces the major police reform exploration and achievements of the Suzhou Police Force in recent years,and compares the achievements of the Suzhou Police Reform with the horizontal ones of the time axis and the space axis respectively.Then the article explains and analyses the reasons why the Suzhou Police Force and police work still need to be further optimized after the police reform.Finally,the author combines the latest experience of police reform in China and the West,as well as the shortcomings of Suzhou police work and police reform itself,and gives the countermeasures and suggestions of Suzhou police reform and police work under the background of the fifth global police reform and the new era,in order to provide useful thinking and reference for the comprehensive development of police reform work in the whole country.This paper draws the following conclusions:Firstly,the police reform must be firmly carried out in the overall situation of the deepening of the Party and the country,with a firm political orientation and clear guiding ideology.Secondly,the police reform work must keep pace with the times,constantly grasp unremittingly,through actively absorbing foreign successful practices and experiences,break the ideological shackles,and update the concept in time.Thirdly,the police reform should dare to break the ice boldly in the formulation,system and mechanism,break through the bottleneck of its own development,and provide convenience for the police work in the static system and dynamic operation.Fourthly,police reform must change from narrow fight against crime to combating with service,to limited public security,to build service-oriented police force,and to improve people's satisfaction and happiness.Fifthly,the police reform work must combine the latest achievements of the current scientific and technological development,change to combat effectiveness of science and technology and to intelligent policing.
