Research On Government Supervision In Tourism Development

The arrival of the era of market economy with Chinese characteristics offers tons of new opportunities to our tourism industry.However,in the meantime,it brings more requirements to government regulation for tourism.Although there are some initial achievements in terms of legislation for tourism,there are still lots of continuous issues in the market.Repeated chaos happens in the course of long-term development of tourism like "unreasonable low-priced" tour group,"zero tour group fee",forced shopping,travel fraud,etc.The reason behind all these issues are not only disfunction of tourism market but also government regulation's dereliction of duty.Since our country is enthusiastically encouraging tourist towns,rural and global tourism,the primary task for us is how to improve government regulation.By doing research on this in the course of the development of tourism,it will produce positive impact on both effectively solving the dysfunctional issues in tourism market and helping our tourism develop in a healthy and sustainable way.In view of the challenge government regulation is facing in the development of tourism in Suzhou Gusu District,we need to apply them to broader areas.In other words,we need to analyze the issues that lead to lack of enforcement,long regulatory and partial regulatory over the course of tourism regulation.For example,inadequacies of regulatory laws,unclear rights and responsibilities of regulatory body,unreasonable setup for regulatory authority and imperfection of regulatory system.Due to this current situation,to ensure the healthy development of tourism regulation,government urgently needs to improve measures for tourism regulation from different perspective.For instance,establishment of regulatory concept,improvement of laws and regulations,setup of related systems and enrichment of methods for regulation.
