A Study Of The Coping Strategy For The Internet Public Opinion Crisis About The Prison

Under the current situation of the Internet craze,the information technology develops steadfastly and the Netizens are also booming.The transmission of information is becoming more and more rapid and convenient.Network has become the main platform for the people to express both their opinions and demands.The spread of internet public opinion and its influence are growing stronger and stronger,which makes the internet public opinion becomes an integral part of the social public opinion gradually.As the penalty executing organ of the state,prison plays the role of safety valve in the operation of social governance.However,in recent years,the prison has always been the subject of the internet public opinion.Whereas,due to the monotonous disposal methods and the insufficient strain capacity,the prison is always pushed to the front in the negative public opinion.In the process of coping with the internet public opinion crisis,the prison also encounters new problems and challenges.The author deems that,for prison,how to deal with the internet public opinion crisis and solve it actively is of far-reaching significance for easing the social contradictions,preventing the secondary events,and maintaining the local social harmony and stability.Based on related theory,this paper divides the internet public opinion crisis about the prison into crisis germination stage,crisis outbreak stage,crisis spreading stage,and crisis subsiding stage.Combined with the analysis of some cases,it is pointed out that the prison lack awareness of public opinion monitoring and correct operation of crisis warning,ignore the control of influence of the situation,deal with the public opinion inappropriately,release information late and limitedly,alleviate contradiction inadequately,lack of endeavor of rebuilding confidence and its concept on image repair is weak.This paper also puts forward some coping strategies,such as improving the monitoring mechanism upon the public opinion,setting up professional warning system,controlling the impact of event,dealing with the public opinion properly,opening the information of disposal work,alleviating the contradiction effectively,making care-taking arrangement and rebuilding its image of the Internet.
