In the early days of New China,the Marxist national theory has become the basic principle for the party and the government to formulate ethnic policy.Influenced by location,historical tradition and other factors,the economic and educational development level of ethnic minority areas in China is relatively lagging behind,and ethnic minority examinees are in a disadvantaged competitive position in the college entrance examination.To this end,China has formulated a policy of adding points in college entrance examinations for ethnic minorities,which has greatly increased and expanded the number and scope of ethnic minorities receiving higher education.However,with the new stage of reform and opening up,the level of basic education in ethnic areas has been greatly improved,and the policy environment for minority bonus-point policy in the college entrance examination has undergone great changes.With the promotion of equal access to regional public services,the degree of equal access to educational resources for ethnic minority students has been greatly improved,and the minority bonus-point policy in the college entrance examination has been questioned.In addition,in recent years,such events as "collegiate entrance examination immigration" and tampering with ethnic identity have been common,which is consistent with all kinds of questions from various sectors of the society regarding the minority bonus-point policy in the college entrance examination,and suggestions on adjusting relevant policies have also entered the policy level.This paper takes the minority bonus-point policy in the college entrance examination as the research object,carding the research status of this policy,investigating the development of the policy and analyzing the policy implementation effect and the problem.The purpose is to discuss why more and more people question the favorable policy that aims to promote the equal enjoyment of the right to education of all ethnic groups and bridge the development gap among ethnic groups.On the basis of this analysis,this paper discusses the value orientation of the minority bonus-point policy in the college entrance examination,so as to resolve the value conflict and interest contradiction in the implementation of the ethnic minority additional score policy,provide Suggestions for the adjustment and improvement of the ethnic minority additional score policy,and promote the development of ethnic minority higher education.The author thinks that the problem orientation of the minority bonus-point policy in the college entrance examination does not mean that the ethnic preferential policy has lost the ability to play its special role.At present,there is still a large gap between the development of ethnic minority areas and other regions in all aspects.Therefore,we should not simply cancel the minority bonus-point policy in the college entrance examination,but adjust and improve it according to the actual conditions.In order to play its role in promoting the equality of national education in the new era,it is necessary to balance the conflict between individual equality and group equality,promote the equalization of public education services,and add regional factors to ensure that ethnic minority examinees that really need help are taken care of.At the same time,we should to build up the awareness of the Chinese National Community and gradually eliminate the problems of ethnic separation that may arise from the strengthening of national identity.
