The Countermeasure Study Of Pension Services For Lost Only-child Elders In Suzhou

Based on China’s population and unique policies,our population issues have always been the main topics for research.The implementation of " Family planning”has wellrestrained the explosive growth of the population,but after the only children accidentally disabled or died,the lost only-child families have become important social issues,and the demands of families have gradually become a social hot spot.With the release of the "Comprehensive Two-Child Policy" in 2016,the lost only-child family by government policy has gradually withdrawn from the stage of history.The Chinese government has written "cares for lost only-child families" into the 13th Five-year plan,which shows the government’s concern for those families.However,under the background of ageing,the elders who lost their only child are facing many difficulties,such as pension,poverty,disease and so on.The problem of pension service for those families is imminent.This article takes 159 lost only-child families in Y Sub-district and S Sub-district of Suzhou as the research object,and finds that the dilemma of providing services for the aged is the biggest problem facing those families in survey.Based on the government’s efforts to solve the problem of supporting the elderly of the bereaved families,this paper comprehensively combs the current supporting policies,further studies the problems and reasons for such situation in combination with the information obtained through interviews,and then puts forward feasible countermeasures for the situation in Suzhou.The first chapter is an introduction to the background and significance of the research on lost only-child families.It reviews the research status of lost only-child families through a literature review,and proposes research methods and technical roadmaps based on existing problems.The second chapter focuses on the concept and theory of family pension for lost only-child elderly,including the theoretical definition of related concepts and the theoretical basis of pension services.The third chapter is based on the case study of Y Sub-district and S Sub-district in Suzhou.This study obtains the data dynamic changes of the families who lost their only child from 2016 to 2019.Through the in-depth analysis of the data,it shows the current situation of the families who lost their only child in this area.The fourth chapter analyzes the current situation of the family life,taking economy,psychology,health,life and social contact as the starting point,summarizes the problems faced by the family pension.And from the support policy,home-based community pension and institutional pension and other aspects of further analysis of the reasons.The fifth chapter puts forward the countermeasures to improve the elderly care service for the bereaved families from the three angles of government,society and market.The sixth chapter is the conclusion.
