Research On The Political Socialization Of The New Generation Of Migrant Workers

Political socialization is a necessary way for countries to maintain political stability.Through political socialization,citizens of all countries can form basic political cognition,positive political emotions,strong motivation and interest in political participation,and unwavering political beliefs Participate in politics,form good political interaction,maintain political stability and promote political development.In the context of rapid globalization and informatization,the West intends to discredit the socialist system and development path with Chinese characteristics through ideological penetration.At present,our country is in a transitional period,social systems and other aspects need to be improved,social problems and social contradictions are outstanding,and our people,especially young people who are still immature,are likely to confuse or even distort their values.Under the penetration of Western ideology,young people with immature values are prone to question the legitimacy of various aspects of our country’s system and the state organs of the Communist Party of China,the Chinese Government,which affects China’s political stability and political development.There is an urgent need to strengthen political socialization,improve the effectiveness of political socialization,and maintain political stability.Youth is the future of the country and the hope of the nation.The new generation of migrant workers,as a special group of young peo ple in China,have made great contributions to urban construction and de velopment.They are eager to integrate into the city and have high expectations for their own de velopment.They have basic cultural knowledge and strong self-awareness.This research found that the political socialization of the new generation of migrant workers has achieved some results,formed a basic political cognition,has a strong patriotic feeling,has a high e valuation of the country,especially the central political value,and has a strong socialist belief.However,there are also some problems,which are prominently manifested in four aspects: low level of political cognition,lack of political enthusiasm and political interest,low evaluation of the political value of grassroots governments,and low proportion of political participation.Based on domestic and foreign research,the political,economic,cultural,and social environment is analyzed,and the reasons for the poor political socialization of the new generation of migr ant workers include the constraints of the urban-rural dual household registration system and the lack of channels of interest Smooth flow,lower economic income of the new generation of migrant workers,inefficient ideological and political education and exclusion of urban culture,negative effects of social transformation,and low degree of organization of the new generation of migrant workers.This article believes that the following measures need to be taken to improve the political socialization effect of the new generation of migrant workers,to develop them into qualified "political people",to participate in politics in an orderly manner,to maintain political stability in our country,and to promote political development.Specifically,reform the urban and rural dual household registration system,and unblock the channels for expressing the benefits of the new generation of migrant workers;strengthen vocational training,increase economic income,and provide a material basis for political participation;strengthen political and ideological education,build an inclusive urban culture,and improve the ne w generation of farmers Social satisfaction of workers;Reduce the negative impact of social change,increase political recognition,guide the construction of new-generation migrant workers’ organizations,and improve the effectiveness of political participation.
