With the rapid development of economy and society,people's living standards are increasing,and the public's attention to food safety is increasing.At present,the supply of low-end agricultural products in the market is generally surplus,and ordinary agricultural products are often in good harvest but unsalable,with no increase in production.However,the supply of high-end agricultural products with organic agricultural products as the core is insufficient,and the consumption of organic food market in China grows at a rate of about 40% every year.The development of organic agriculture is an important way for the transformation and upgrading of traditional agriculture,which meets the requirements of agricultural sustainable development and can meet the growing demand for safe and high-quality food.In recent years,s county has made some achievements by actively exploring and vigorously developing organic agriculture in combination with its own regional characteristics.However,due to the weakness of agriculture and the defects of the market itself,there are still many problems.In this context,we need to give full play to the functions of the government,so the research on the functions of the government in the development of organic agriculture has become a key and necessary issue.This paper chooses the government function in the development of organic agriculture as the research object,hoping to play a role in promoting the government function.First introduces the research significance of this topic,and makes a literature review of its research status.Through literature review,it tries to find the problem of this paper,that is,how to optimize the government function in the development of organic agriculture.This paper also describes the main concepts and research methods involved in this study.Then,combined with the investigation and analysis of the government's performance in the process of organic agriculture development and existing problems,mainly including decision-making function,planning function,regulatory function,service function,regulatory function.Then,it analyzes the reasons for the poor performance of the government,and sums up the reasons into five factors:the transformation of government functions is not in place,the overall strategic planning is missing,the relevant policies are not in place,the level of public services provided is low,and the relevant legal system is not perfect.Finally,the paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for the development of organic agriculture in order to promote the further development of organic agriculture in S County.
