City Administration Level?City Size And Urban Productivity

The city is an important carrier of economic development,with China's economic development has entered a new norm,economic growth is slowing,on how to promote the development of the city,improve the production efficiency of the city gradually become the focus of attention from all walks of life.Under the special background of our country,The existence of the city administrative level makes our city have different management authority,and there is a big difference in the size of the city in attracting labor,enterprises,and research related to the economic development level of city administrative intervention.Therefore,this article attempts to study the influence on City production efficiency from the city administrative level,city scale angle,and analyzes the interaction mechanism between them,in order to provide some inspiration to improve our city production efficiency.This paper is structured as follows: firstly,the background and significance of the research are introduced,Based on this,the research questions are put forward,then combing the research status at home and abroad,find out the advantages and disadvantages of previous studies,and on the basis of previous research,this paper puts forward the research contents and methods;The second chapter introduces the need to apply to the externality theory,new economic geography theory and the theory of increasing returns to scale,and then sort out the relationship between the three,the first is to analyze the city administrative level and production efficiency of city,city and city scale and production efficiency were analyzed,finally the influence the synergistic effect of city production efficiency is analyzed,and on this basis,put forward the research hypothesis;the third chapter by China's prefecture level city data,an empirical test of the hypothesis using the panel model,including regression,robust analysis and endogenous test model.On the basis of theoretical analysis and empirical test,the following conclusions are drawn: the city administrative level has a negative impact on city production efficiency;city size has a positive effect on the city production efficiency,city scale in the inverted U relation of city production efficiency;synergistic effect of the level of city administration and city scale has the effect of promoting the the production efficiency of the city.According to the above research conclusion,this paper presents policy recommendations from a reasonable guide city development and improve the administrative level,our country city transformation of government functions and strengthen the level of interoperability and other point of view,to promote the city to promote the efficiency of production.
