This study analyzes the process of globalization in a changing and developing China,as well as the place of the "one belt, one road" initiative in the process of globalization for China.China joined the processes of globalization at the end of the 20 th century and since then has made considerable progress in its development and opening the country to the world. The study covers the economic, political and cultural direction of this phenomenon. The paper considers the participation of the PRC in international globalization processes and its place in them, the main trends and characteristics in modern conditions. The question is raised about the role of the Chinese initiative "One belt, one road" for China's globalization, its goals, results, possible prospects and plans,as well as its potential economic impact on the Eurasian space. The OBOR is designed by the Chinese government to include a land—based "Silk road Economic belt" – much like the historical silk road-and an oceanic "Maritime silk Road" connecting Southeast Asia,Oceania and North Africa. At the moment,OBOR is developing China's trade relations and diversifying exports, which contributes to the development of trade and growth throughout Asia. Thus, this work gives an idea of the course of globalization in China and its contribution to its own development,as well as to the development of other countries,in particular from the point of view of the Chinese initiative of the New land and Sea silk road. The study examines how, over time,a wider range of countries became involved in the Chinese "One belt, one road" initiative, and the initiative itself began to be filled with new content. This initiative has become the main state strategy of Chinese leaders, aimed at solving both internal and external challenges to China's development.China sees this concept as a mega-initiative to promote the economic development of China itself and countries around the world as a whole. This idea has become a material force, has acquired the quality of a conceptual strategy for the development of China, offered for export to many countries, and is positioned as a kind of tool for solving local and global problems in the field of international economic relations.
