Europe has a long history of accepting refugees.Before 2014,small-scale refugees continued to enter Europe every year.This phenomenon has been normalized.Even if the number of refugees more than doubled in 2014 from the same period of the previous year,it did not attract the attention of the European Union.However,by 2105,when a round of Middle Eastern refugees with a population of more than one million entered Europe,the EU was suddenly caught in unprecedented chaos and tears.Urgent border security and management,uneven distribution of responsibilities led to the bankruptcy of the common asylum system,and refugees in the disorders within Europe,humanitarian crises and terrorist crises are intertwined,and what is more serious is the serious divergence in the understanding and handling of refugee crises within the European Union.The four countries of the Visegrad Group,represented by Poland(Poland,Hungary,The Czech Republic and Slovakia)have publicly opposed the EU's refugee assessment plan,which has made the refugee crisis more confusing at the same time as it has raised new challenges for the EU.This article attempts to extract the special features of the refugee crisis by sorting out the background,causes and characteristics of the European refugee crisis.It focuses on a historical review of Polish refugee policy and analyzes three changes in Polish attitudes towards refugees: one is After joining the European Union,the “Europeanization” of Polish refugee policy has changed.Second,the Polish government 's attitude towards refugees has changed after the EU 's mandatory assessment of refugees' policies.Third,the attitude towards refugees in Polish society had changed under the multiple influences of electoral politics,the dissemination of public opinion and terrorism.On this basis,further explore the reasons behind the transformation,and take Poland's transformed refugee policy as an example to analyze its impact and inspiration on the European refugee crisis response and European integration.The main part of this article is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly analyzes the concept of the European refugee crisis and explains the background,process,causes and impacts of the European refugee crisis,especially the impact on Central and Eastern Europe.The second chapter mainly introduces Polish refugee policy,reviews policy history,and describes the disagreement between Poland and the EU on refugee policy.The third chapter mainly analyzes the reasons behind the formulation of Polish refugee policy,what are the interests considerations and impression factors.The last chapter focuses on the impact of Polish refugee policy on the governance of the European refugee crisis and the process of European integration,and what useful enlightenment Poland has brought to countries around the world in responding to refugee issues.
