The Study Of Government Size Influence On Social Vitality

Since the reform and opening up,China's economic and social development has made considerable progress.But there are also problems such as the low quality of development and the lack of development potential.In the face of these situations,the Third Plenary Session of the 18 th CPC Central Committee proposed to "further emancipate the mind,emancipate and develop social productivity,emancipate and enhance social vitality",and the report of the 19 th CPC National Congress also proposed to "stimulate the creativity and development vitality of the whole society".China hope to solve these problems by stimulating the vitality of the whole society.In China,the government plays an important role in the process of economic and social development.The government actively participates in social life through a series of means such as economy and politics,which makes the scale of the government expand continuously,thus affecting the development of social vitality.How does the government size affect the social vitality and whether there is an optimal scale to promote the development of social vitality is the core issue of this paper.This paper is divided into five chapters: the first chapter is the introduction.In this chapter,first of all,the background and significance of the study are explained,then the relevant literature of government size and social vitality is combed,and literature review is carried out,finally,the research ideas,research methods,innovation and deficiency of this paper are introduced.The second chapter is the theoretical basis.Firstly,it defines the concept of government size and social vitality,and then analyzes the impact of different government sizes on social vitality.The third chapter is the construction and measurement of variables.First of all,it combs the relevant literature about the measurement of government size,and determines the measurement method of this paper.Then,by combing the literature of social vitality,we measure the social vitality on the basis of constructing the index system of social vitality.The fourth chapter empirically analyzes the influence of government scale on social vitality,human vitality,organization vitality and mechanism vitality.Through Hausman test to determine the use of fixed effect model,and build the model;secondly,the variables and data are explained;finally,the empirical results are explained and robustness test.The fifth chapter is conclusion,suggestion and prospect.In this chapter,first of all,the results of the previous study are analyzed and summarized,then the suggestions of this paper are put forward,and finally the possible research direction in the future is discussed.Through the empirical research on the relationship between government size and social vitality,this paper draws the following conclusions: there is a significant inverted U-shaped relationship between government size and social vitality,that is,there is a government size that promotes the optimal development of social vitality.According to the main regression results and the regression results of control variables,this paper puts forward the following five suggestions: first,in order to continue to promote the development of social vitality,China should maintain the continuous expansion of government size;second,China should further promote the level of urbanization and improve the urbanization rate;third,China should further improve the legal environment of the whole society;Fourth,China should continue to improve the social security level of the whole society;fifth,China should continue to relax the birth policy to increase the population size of our country.
