Research On The Lack Of Public Credit Of Local Government In The Internet Era And The Improvement Measures

People's trust in the government is the basis for the government to exercise administrative behavior,which is related to the legitimacy of the government.The research on government credibility has become the focus of government management theory at this stage,and the reform of government credibility is also an important part of China's political system reform.With the development of society,the management concepts and methods of our governments at all levels need to be innovated accordingly,otherwise it may lead to serious loss of credibility.Officials' corruption,food safety,various mass incidents and a series of social problems emerge in endlessly.Once the governance of social problems fails,it will easily lead to the damage of the image of the government and the decline of credibility.Faced with this situation,it is urgent to re-examine the issue of government credibility.Through the study of government credibility,we can improve the image of the government,promote the political participation of the people,realize the common governance of multi-governance subjects and enhance the credibility of the government.The purpose of this paper is to study the current situation,influencing factors and existing problems of the credibility of local governments in China from the perspective of theory and practice,to explore the reasons for the loss of government credibility in the process of government management through empirical research,and to explore the ways to enhance the credibility of local governments.Firstly,this paper analyses the relevant concepts of public trust in the context of China and the West,and clarifies the evaluation criteria of the whole article;then,it constructs the theoretical basis of analysis from social contract theory,communitarianism theory,public choice theory and so on;and then,taking the poisonous land incident in Changzhou as an example,it analyses the influence of government behavior on the public trust of government in the process of government policy introduction and landing.Through empirical analysis,this paper tries to study the reasons for the decline ofgovernment credibility and the social impact of the loss of public credibility.Finally,on the basis of relevant theories,the paper explores the path to enhance public trust and specific measures based on this path.The first is to maximize the realization of public interests,protect people's basic life,guide people to correctly handle interest relations and share development results;the second is to enhance the ability of the government to govern,increase people's political participation and the construction of government staff,and build a service-oriented government;the last is to improve the supervision mechanism and build a responsible government.
