Pension institution is an important place of social work practice in our country and has become an important field of social work practice and development for the aged.The practice of social work in pension institutions is not only related to the realization of the value of social work,but also related to the future professional development of social work in the field of pension services.As an aging city in China,Shanghai takes the lead in exploring the social work practice in pension institutions and forms a relatively perfect service model through continuous practice.In some pension institutions,the construction and development of social work system has gone through more than ten years.Under such a background,it is worth further research and thinking to study the current situation of social work practice in pension institutions,how to have an impact on pension institutions,and how to create the optimal professional value.Starting from the recognition perspective,this study explores the recognition relationship between social work and the pension institution platform system,excavates the recognition status quo of social work from the specific practice of social work,and explores the dilemma of the development of social work from theperspective of recognition.Taking the pension institution of F welfare home in Shanghai as a case,the author explored and analyzed the recognition status of social work in the pension institution of F welfare home through semi-structured interview and participatory observation.With the promotion of national policies and the institutional acceptance of pension institutions,social work has acquired a legitimate identity and space to display social work in pension institutions,which lays a foundation for social work to seek recognition in pension institutions.At the same time,social work needs to be recognized and recognized in pension institutions,which requires emotional acceptance from social work groups,elderly service clients and other members of the institution.In addition,the value contribution of social work is also an important driving force for the recognition and development of social work in pension institutions.The value contribution of social work enables it to obtain resources for development in pension institutions,and also promotes the integration of social work into the service system of pension institutions for the elderly.However,in this recognition of the status quo,the practice of social work also has difficulties.In the emotional dimension of recognition,there is an identity crisis in the practice of social work.Due to the shallow cognition of social work among the members of the institution and the elderly service objects,they have insufficient emotional acceptance of social work.Under the value dimension of recognition,the practical value of social work is dwarved,which is mainly reflected in the insufficient recognition and questioning of the value contribution of social work by the social work group and other members of the organization.There is also a crisis in the development of social work in pension institutions under the dimension of rights recognized.Because of a shortage of the legitimacy of social work in the society,the legitimacy led to pension institutions of social work practice in existence is weak,at the same time,the development of social work is derived from the authorization of institutions,security administration management mode of management of social work,by inhibiting the role of social work,in addition,due to the half closed endowment institutions,group social work service resources is very single,relying on institutions,it is difficult to play to the role of the links to resources,limiting the institutions in thedevelopment of social work.To better resolve the endowment institutions of social work in the development of face recognition of the crisis,to optimize the pension agency in the development of social work,the author thinks that can admit the emotional dimension,power dimension and value dimension of search for countermeasures,can trust by and institutional system to establish close relations of cooperation,expressive and operation support services,enhance the emotional dimension of acknowledged that deepen the identity of social work;By optimizing the management system of social work,expanding the service resources of social work,improving the recognition of the right dimension and enhancing the initiative of social work;By publicizing the concept of social work,strengthening the capacity building of social work,optimizing the recognition of value dimension,deepening the recognition of social work.
