Research On Management Optimization Strategy Of College Students' Volunteer Association Based On Group Characteristics

Under the background of rapid social development,China's voluntary service has been developing more and more rapidly,which has greatly promoted the civilization and progress of the society.Nowadays,more and more college students participate in voluntary service activities and become an important force of youth volunteer organizations in China.However,the management of college student volunteer organizations relatively lags behind,which seriously reduces the enthusiasm and initiative of college students to participate in volunteer service.How volunteer organizations continue to guide and promote college students to actively participate in volunteer service activities,so that it can not only promote the self-improvement of college students,but also achieve the purpose of serving the society,is an important issue that needs to be solved urgently by college students' volunteer organizations.Based on this,this article takes college student volunteers from 6 colleges and universities in Xiamen as the target population,Through the questionnaire to understand the characteristics of college students' volunteer service cognition,attitude and behavior under the background of the new era,this paper finds out the weaknesses of college students' volunteer organization management,and puts forward corresponding optimization strategies in order to improve the level of college students' volunteer organization management.In this paper,first of all,the relevant studies of college student volunteer organizations at home and abroad are sorted out to grasp the cutting-edge research results;Secondly,using the research method of questionnaire survey,4500 students from 6 institutions of higher learning in Xiamen were selected as the survey objects,through statistical description and analysis of their volunteer service cognition characteristics,volunteer service attitude characteristics and volunteer service behavior characteristics,the results show that: firstly,college students' volunteers have a low level of cognition of relevant contents in the field of volunteer service.Secondly,college students' volunteers hold a positive attitude towards voluntary service,but their faith is not firm enough,and they are easy to withdraw from difficulties.Thirdly,there is a lack of connection between the volunteer service project and the volunteer's major,and the volunteers do not get the professional training of volunteer service,so they do not know how to participate and there is no appropriate project to participate in.Then,combined with the analysis of group characteristics,the root causes of the problems are deeply explored,and the weaknesses of college student volunteer organization management are summarized: First,the publicity of voluntary service is not enough and the publicity channels are narrow.Second,the ideological education of the volunteers and the concept guidance of the whole society are not comprehensive and in-depth,and the external support is weak;Third,the volunteer service is not linked with the professional,volunteers do not get professional training.Finally,combined with the actual situation of China's universities,based on the characteristics of college students and the weak points of volunteer organizations,targeted countermeasures are proposed to optimize the management of college students' volunteer organizations: To broaden the publicity channels of college students' voluntary service and enhance their cognition of voluntary service;Strengthen ideological education for volunteers,strive for external support,innovate volunteer service projects,help students establish self-confidence,strengthen the faith of students to participate in volunteer service;Strengthen the connection between activities and majors,standardize the training of college students' volunteers.
