Study On Community Work With Strength Perspective

Community,is a social community that people live in the same geographical region who pursue the psychological sense of identity,regard meeting the needs at different levels as the purpose.As a national administration unit of a nation in transition,its development and construction is of vital significance.Community construction is not only a necessary requirement for our country at this stage in economy and social development,but also a critical channel for our city's modernization in the new era.However,in the rapid transition of the process of modernization,a lot of challenging issues have arisen in both institutional and practical level.Since the reform and opening policy,communities play a role on effective alternative of "unit system" which performs decline role,it increasingly take on important social functions,such as population in public life,consolidating social order and safeguarding tenants,which acting in the form of social affairs and the "funnel" renders in down to the community level.While communities undertake all kinds of "social burden"during the process of social transformation just like a social nanny,and the "baggage"would to be accepted by the community and resolved one by one.That means it is a critical test to new community organizations and managers.But the ingredients that communities need n the process of developing have a phenomenon of "lagging",such as the motive mechanism of the development problems,the not extreme cohesion of residents,low levels of participation in community activities and incompatible community relations between the parties.Under this social structure,the importance and advantages of using correct concepts and methods to conduct community work effectively has been highlighted.Based on a standpoint that assume "strength perspective" as the foundation theory of community work and sampled by a "migrant children program" of X community,The author worked as a actor and practitioner of community work,explore how community workers working on daily work,in order to construct and develop community,as well as enhancing the lives of happiness index.This paper attempts to use strength perspective to rethink the community work,design how to develop the sense of community of community residents,how to dig the community resources and capacity,and pointed out that the fundamental problem of community work on the fundamental direction,so as to construct and develop communities efficiently.This paper analyzed and probed into possible challenges may arise in community work under strength perspective idea.Proceeded from the relation between dwellers and community,we emphasized the importance of people's community awareness and working thoughts behind community work,discussed strategies and actions in practical application when regulators and community workers fail to reach an agreement in idea.Then,we further investigated boundaries and restraints of a paradigm in practical community work as well as practical significance in operational level under strength perspective,which may helpful for further community work.
