The Intervention Of Social Work On Interpersonal Relationship Of The Women Left-behind In Rural Area-

Since the 1980 s,with the continuous development of urbanization,a large number of rural male labor into urban areas,followed by a new group-the women left-behind in rural area.Heavy manual labor,the monotony of spiritual life,and their own conditions,affected their social interactions and interpersonal relationships.In the existing literature,there are so much of research on the women left-behind in rural area,but in the field of social work,the research on interpersonal relationships of the women left-behind in rural area to is not much.Therefore,this study with two rural areas of Gansu Province as examples,through questionnaire survey and interview method understanding the present situation and problems in the interpersonal aspects of the present situation and problems about the women left-behind in rural area.And exploring their expectations in improving interpersonal relationship.On this basis,the women left-behind in W village in Gansu Province as the target,using the idea of social work and group work method,help the women left-behind in W village learning interpersonal skills and improve their ability to deal with interpersonal communication,to improve their relationships.The research found that the describing aspects of interpersonal relationships about the women left-behind in rural area:the interpersonal relationship of the overall situation is good,the husband’s migrant work have little effect on the interpersonal relationship of the women left-behind in rural area,and most of the women left-behind in rural area think it is important to establish good relationships with others.But in the dynamic process of interpersonal relationships-interpersonal interaction,feelings of equality are high,and in class groups their interpersonal pressure is small.They can stand in someone else’s point to view the problem,and realize their deficiencies in the communication.But their leisure time are poor,and their leisure time activities are arranged more at home,action team of entertainment is relatively small,economic exchanges are difficult.They have less interpersonal conflicts,strong sense of initiative deal with conflicts,but avoid expressing opinions.The majority of women are friendly,but their initiative of communication with strangers are low,and dare not to associate with the opposite sex.The pressure of public opinion,family economic conditions,factors on their own personality,lack of self-confidence,not understand communication skills are important factors affecting interpersonal relationships of the women left-behind in rural area.On the basis of the overall grasp of interpersonal relationships situation about the women left-behind in rural area,we carried out six times group activities for their thought to improve communication and presentation skills,and learn how to contacts with the opposite sex.And analysised the effect of group activities,founding group work method for the women left-behind in rural area,in improving the expression and communication skills,ability to deal with interpersonal conflict can play an important role.At the same time,for the women left-behind in rural area,it also can improve them to identify normal relations between the sexes,in a certain extent can help them to improve interpersonal relationship.
