The new Kindergarten Working Regulations once proposed that the preschool education is an important part of elementary education,and is the primary stage of school educational system.As the foundation of elementary education,preschool plays a vital role in fostering children's physical and mental development comparing with other periods.Nowadays,with the deepening research on preprimary education,many problems coming from kindergarten one-day activities haven been discovered.The ministry of education and local government at all levels have respectively introduced relevant policies,which require the design and organization of the kindergarten one-day activities to be filled with scientificity in order to children's healthy and individualized over all development.Based on the result of literature analysis,it can be noticed that there are more studies on some certain activities and the regular management but less on the overall arrangement in the kindergarten one-day activities,and even very few on the time management.This thesis tries to fill the blank in this field,so author choose the senior class from one kindergarten in Guangzhou as the case on the basis of: Childhood Development oriented educational theory.The author observes the current situation and aims at finding out the existing problems on the time management of kindergarten one-day activities through documentary study,observation and interview,analyzing the causes and proposing some improvement measures.According to the investigation analysis,the anthor concluded that the one-day activities are arranged properly.For example,the time-table has considered the combination of dynamic and static,indoor and outdoor.The schedule of teaching activities and the morning exercises are achieve the goal of “childhood development oriented”.There are still some irrationable points even though.For example,the time distribution is too detail and the time arrangement in some steps is irrational.Teachers usually have full authority in arranging time and activities when they organize the one-day activities so that there is huge difference between the actual one-day activities and time-table.Firstly from the overall aspect of one-day activities,Negative wait,unified activities and time arranged problem lead to that the part of life activity time takes large proportion in the one-day activities;We can also notice that the time of learning activities is too long which is always over 1 hour;the time is inadequate in game activities.Secondly,from the view of specific step of actual one-day activities,the problems of time management also can be found.For example,the time of corner activity is insufficient and without teachers' instruction;the time of outdoor activities are can not be guaranteed,and the form and material are so single that reduce the utilization rate of the time;negative wait is still exist in the transition link;the teaching activities time is accasionaly prolonged and the form,content as well as material all lack of scientific design so that the efficiency is low;the time arrange of Meal link are unreasonable;the afternoon nap is too long,etc.Seeing the essence by phenomena,the causes leading the time management of one-day activities mainly come from administrators and teachers.On one hand,the time-table of one-day activities made by adiministrators lacks of scientific resrarch;there is no one-day activities management system of “kindergarten based” in kindergartens;administrators don't make stict rugulations to teachers' organization on the one-day activities.On the other hand,teachers' outdate educational concept.For example,they don't have clear understanding on the real meaning of one-day activities,the value of game activities,“primary school” and “negative wait”;teachers' professional knowledge is weak and they can not really realize the feature of physical and mental development,caring less relative policies of the early childhood education;they perform non-professional spirit,relying on those ordered course material and tend to convenience.In order to achieve the goal of “childhood development oriented”,administrators must make scientific one-day activities time-table and the kindergarten-based one-day activities management system,especially the rigidity and flexibility requirements.They should have detail regulations on teachers' plans and implementation in activities,organizing the learning on relative early childhood education.Teachers should update their educational concepts,cherishing the value of one-day activities and improving professional quality and learning actively.They should be disinterested in games,ensuring the quality of game activities,designing scientific learning activities and avoiding overlearning.Tacit cooperation is essential for teachers to avoid time wasting.As the front-line staffs,administrators and teachers should consider children's development as the precondition on the time management of one-day activities,then they can effectively promote children's healthy development and improve the education quality.
