Middle school ideology and morality is a key subject which is necessary for the middle school students' trait growth.Ideology and morality is an important channel for students to get knowledge.Illustrations,as an important part of moral teaching materials,become the most direct curriculum resources which are very easy to get.According to the requirements of the new curriculum standards,educators should develop and use a variety of resources during the teaching process.Therefore,this paper selected illustrations of middle school ideology and morality as the study guide of teaching resources.As a case study of “ideology and morality” of PEP,to study on the illustrations of middle school ideology and morality,is based on the position of teaching materials,students and teachers to design the illustrations of middle ideology and morality and find out the problems of them while using them.Meanwhile,some relative solutions should be proposed.Full paper contains five parts: No.1,the introduction part,mainly discusses the research background,purpose and significance,research status and method in this paper.No.2,to make a systematic analysis of the illustrations of middle school ideology and morality,including why we need illustrations in the ideology and morality textbook,how to design the illustrations and make a combination with the teaching materials.No.3,to make a classification of the illustrations of middle school ideology and morality and analyze their features,functions and values.About value analysis is to elicit the value orientation of the teaching material illustrations,compare the textbook illustrations and text value.Related elements of analysis is to see whether they match or not and whether the illustrations and cognitive characteristics of the students match or not.No.4,based on the position of teaching materials,students and teachers,find out the problems in the illustrations of middle school ideology and morality and analyze the reasons.No.5,to propose an effective solutions of the problems which were found out in the illustrations and optimize the way of the illustrations of middle school ideology and morality.
