The Research On The Professional Quality Training Of Hotel Profession In Secondary Vocational School

Secondary vocational education is an important part in our country,the current social and economic development in China has made great contributions.The goal of secondary vocational education is to develop a line for socialist construction managers and builders.With the development and progress of society and economy,the requirement for workers has changed.The simple jobs skills required for people have been replaced by comprehensive professional quality requirements.And most of the industries has put forward higher request to the employee's professional quality.As a part of secondary vocational schools in our country,some problems still exist in hotel management professional,for example the short-term job is easy,but the development for long-term career is difficult,and the problem of unemployment and staff liquidity.It is because that the secondary vocational students pay attention to the basic knowledge and skills,but they lack the core lasting competitiveness of vocational ability.Taking tourism school in Wuhan as an example,the paper investigates the professional quality of students in hotel management professional schools.And we also analyzes the existing problems and put forward relevant countermeasures.First of all,this paper introduces the development of tourism hotel industry and the demand for hotel management professional students.And we also analyze the purpose and significance of this study.A brief introduction about the professional quality of hotel management major students at home and abroad has been also made.In addition,the literature research,questionnaire investigation and case study method are adopted in this paper.Secondly,this paper summarizes the hotel management major in secondary vocational schools and analyzes the theoretical connotation of professional quality.We also introduce the professional accomplishment that hotel staff should have and the importance of professional training in secondary vocational schools.In addition,this paper takes the hotel management professional students in Wuhan tourism school for the investigation object,and describes the design form and the questionnaire survey method in detail.Through the result of investigation,we summarize the positive achievements and the existing problems and the insufficiency of professional quality from the hotel management professional students.Finally,on the basis of empirical study,this article analyzes,the reasons why these problems occurred in professional training from social environment,school environment and the students themselves.And the advice to strengthen professional training students majoring in hotel management is proposed,including setting up the correct occupational consciousness and the goal,optimizing the curriculum construction and practice outside,the teacher to stimulate the students' professional quality training,creating a good external environment.
