Nowadays,China's social economy is developing continuously and aging is becoming more and more serious.Older people become the object of social concern.Retirement elderly people become special people in the old age group.For most retirees,because of the huge and sudden changes in social roles,it is difficult to adapt to one after another.Urban retired cadres first they have a fixed pension,and there is a corresponding medical security,basically no greater economic pressure.Second,because of the original occupation given to a certain degree of power and obligations are interrupted,which makes them in the process of social adaptation,physical and psychological aspects will change,in this case,the resulting loss of feeling,Loneliness formed the so-called "retirement syndrome." On the basis of this,this paper analyzes the characteristics of urban retirees in economic,physical factors,psychological factors and so on,according to the requirements of the case work,based on the theory of professional social work,the scientific method,the idea of? ? helping others to self-help and the urban retired cadres as the research background Aspects of the problems and causes.The author through the case social work on the case of a Z involved,will be broadly divided into three stages,the first stage to solve the owner's own physical problems and personal emotional improvement.The second phase focuses on improving family membership.The third stage,to help the owner to achieve the "work" desire.After the end of these three stages,through the self-assessment of the owner,the professional assessment of social workers,the social adjustment of the case after retirement has improved.Through the author's intervention and thinking,this paper draws the conclusion:social workers in contemporary society should play an active role,with professional knowledge and love to help retirees to actively adapt to retirement life,in the process of intervention,should always pay attention to the feelings of the owner Language,behavior,etc.,in order to facilitate the intervention,social workers in the face of such clients,should be based on their external environment and their own conditions and needs to adjust their psychological,as much as possible to improve the surrounding environment so that retirees Optimistic,healthy and active into older life.In the improvement of the case at the same time the family members of the case made theappropriate reasonable views to help the city retired cadres to successfully change the role to adapt to retirement.The use of community resources and social resources in this intervention is relatively small,in the future social work involved should actively take full advantage of the community,social resources.
