Academic evaluation is generally referred to as examination,which is used to test the academic quality of students.For high school students,our country has established an academic evaluation system that combines with the university entrance examination,academic level examination and overall quality appraisal.There are various forms of academic evaluation,and the most common is written examination.As a basic natural science course of middle school,biology is designed to allow students to obtain basic knowledge of biology,train the basic biology experimental skills,and improve biological key competence.Their expression ability plays an important role in achieving good grades in the biology academic evaluation.At present,there are many common problems about the ability of expression in the biology academic evaluation of high school students,such as incorrect word,missing word,fabricating or distorting professional terminology,unknown title meaning,the answer is not asked,the answer does not highlight the key,the answer is not concise,the drawing of diagrams is not accurate and so on.In order to improve the ability of expression in the biology academic evaluation of high school students,this study attempts to probe into the forms,content,characteristics and cultivation strategies of the ability of expression in the biology academic evaluation of high school students through the literature investigation,analysis of students' answers,teaching survey,and observational research.The results are as follows:1.The literature reviews and researches show that there are related researches abroad about the academic evaluation,but the specific research is rare on the ability of expression in the biology academic evaluation;Although there are first-line biology teachers to carry out domestic related research,but largely confine to the theory,and they are not systematic,no thorough,or incomprehensive.2.The investigation about students' expression ability in the biology academic evaluation indicated that there are many problems,such as learning methods are unscientific,discipline thinking is not active,awareness of professional terms is weak and so on.Teachers' knowledge presentation,teaching methods,language expression habits and so on directly or indirectly affect students' expression ability in the biology academic evaluation.Therefore,the students' learning and teachers' teaching have an important influence on cultivating the expression ability in the academic evaluation.3.The paper analysis and studies showed that the problems of the expression ability in the biology academic evaluation are ubiquitous.From the performance form,there is poor handwriting,missing word,extra word,and the inaccurate diagram drawing.The causes of the expression problems on paper are multifaceted which mainly summarized as the following aspects:(1)The writing is not standard;(2)The topic is not clear,the logic is chaotic,and not flexible use of knowledge;(3)The answer is not rigorous,inaccurate,comprehensive;(4)Misunderstanding or utterly ignorant of the knowledge;(5)Chart drawing is not accurate and scientific;(6)Symbol design and layout is unreasonable,lack of normalization;(7)Fail to show real biological logical relationship between biological events.In view of the existence of the related problems of the expression ability in the biology academic evaluation of high school students,in this paper we put forward the corresponding training strategies,such as improving teachers' teaching ability,standardizing teaching language;improving students' ability of thinking and ability to migrate knowledge,standarding students' writing and so on,which aim to provide reference and guidance to improve the biology teaching effect of high school.
