Career exploration is a very important stage in the career development of individuals individual purposeful,conscious initiative to enhance the understanding of the external environment behavior,in order to achieve the process of self career goals.Super divides the career development process into the growth stage,the exploration stage,the establishment stage,the maintenance stage and the recession stage.College students are just in the stage of career development.Harin(2006)argues that career explorations can be divided into two categories:self-exploration and environmental exploration.These two kinds of exploration to the individual to bring a different role:environmental exploration can allow individuals to obtain employment opportunities,understand the actual situation of employment environment.Self-exploration is mainly to make individuals have a more comprehensive understanding of their own,in-depth understanding of their career hobbies and their own career-related ability.These two kinds of exploration together can provide individuals with their own professional information,to promote the individual to choose a more suitable for their ideal career.Career exploration has a profound impact on the career development of college students.The purpose of this study was to understand the present situation of career exploration of college students,to explore the relationship between the core self-evaluation,the career decision making self-efficacy and the social support.,to analysis the influence mechanism of career exploration,and provide a boost to solve the problem of career exploration of college students.In order to explore effective ways to actively guide students to explore the occupation,this study examines the individual factors(the core self-evaluation,occupation decision-making self-efficacy)and environmental factors(the social support),to explore their potential impact on individual behavior to explore comprehensive occupation.The core self-evaluation scale,social support rating scale,career decision making self-efficacy scale and career exploration questionnaire were used to investigate 692 college students in Shandong.The data were analyzed by SPSS20.0 and Amos17.0.Based on the analysis of variance,this paper discusses the status quo and differences of College Students' core self-evaluation,social support,career decision-making self-efficacy and career exploration in professional,gender,grade,only child and students.By using correlation analysis to explore the core self-evaluation,social support,occupation decision-making self-efficacy and occupation of relationship,through the Amos to construct the social support and occupation decision-making self-efficacy mediated the relationship between core self-evaluation and exploration of occupation.The effects of core self-evaluation,social support,and career decision-making self-efficacy on career exploration of different percentile levels were investigated by quartile regression.The main conclusions are as follows:(1).College students have a higher level of core self-evaluation,career decision-making self-efficacy and career exploration level,the level of social support.There were significant gender and grade differences between the four variables,and there was no significant difference in the core self-evaluation,career decision-making self-efficacy and career exploration.(2).There was a significant positive correlation between core self-evaluation,social support,career decision-making self-efficacy and career exploration.(3).The core self-evaluation has a significant effect on career exploration,and the impact of core self-evaluation on career exploration is achieved through the mediating role of social support and career decision-making self-efficacy.(4).The core self-evaluation and career decision-making self-efficacy have a positive impact on career exploration,and social support is more important for the low level of career exploration.
