A Research On The Demand Of Migrant Children's Secondary Vocational Education

With the acceleration of urbanization in our country,a growing number of rural migrant workers bring their children to the city to accept education in the form of"moving".The families of migrant children belong to the vulnerable groups in society and their demand of education has always been the focus of the society.At present,in order to develop social economy,our country strive to develop secondary vocational education in that it can train skilled talents.In the time of economic transition,Wuhan city is making the advanced manufacturing center which is used to support the development of the Yangtze river economic zone.Therefore,Wuhan needs an ocean of skilled talents.We can see that Wuhan has increased investment in secondary vocational education this years and tried to improve educational quality.Through empirical investigation analysis of two secondary vocational schools in Wuhan city,it proves that migrant children account for 62.2%of the whole secondary vocational school students on average.From the data,we know that migrant children have a strong demand in secondary vocational education.Therefore,I have the idea to make a research on the demand of migrant children's secondary vocational education and from three aspects to discuss it:1.What are the influencing factors in migrant children to attend the secondary vocational school?2.Which majors do you choose?Why you choose it?What demand reflected according to different choices?3.What are the expectations for students in different majors?This paper is divided into five parts:the first part is introduction,to expound research background.conclude the literature and put forward research methods.The second part is the theoretical analysis.It concludes the demand of migrant children's secondary vocational education into the framework of demand theory and explains the influence of educational shunt on the demand of migrant children's secondary vocational education.The third part is the general description of statistical analysis about the demand of migrant children's secondary vocational education.The fourth part is the deep analysis.At last,it comes to conclusions and puts forward suggestions.
