In the teaching of second language,it has a lot of controversy about the using of medium of instruction.The thesis gets through the investigation and analysis of the students in Thailand Samut Sakhon Wittayalai School,and also analyses some Chinese teachers in different schools.The author investigate if the students want teacher to use the medium of instruction and the teacher whether to use the medium of instruction in each part of Chinese language teaching.The questionnaire showed that using the medium of instruction can ensure the success of teaching and has the indispensable role in Thailand primary Chinese teaching.Through the investigation and interview,this paper summarizes the advantage and disadvantage,and then puts forward the methods and suggestions in teaching Chinese on the using medium of instruction.The first part of the thesis is about the reason?purpose?significance and the definition of medium of instruction,also summarizes some other specialists' research about the using of media language.The second part analyzes the questionnaire about students and teachers.Then research the interview about teachers and studies the factors of influence on using the medium of instruction.The next part combines the author's teaching practice in Thailand and shows role and suggestions about the use of media language in teaching.The last part is the conclusion,and puts forward the rational use of the medium of instruction.
