The Stability Of Farmer Workers And The Difference Of Wage Income

The farmer workers in China at the end of 2014 reached 253 million people,which brings prosperity of China's development,but also brings a lot of social problems.The employment problem of the farmer workers is directly related to the stability of the farmer workers and social stability.Due to the Household registration policy's restriction of farmer workers and other factors,the labor market segmentation problem is more serious,so the public pressure of farmer workers is great.The core problem of farmer workers urbanization is if the floating people have a stable job.On the micro level of occupation stability of the farmer workers and wage difference reasons,we can understand the employment status of farmer workers in China,which is important to the success of farmer workers urbanization.From literature review,I found that compared to changes in occupation are mostly concentrated in urban and rural areas under the registration segmentation contrast and market segmentation,less papers concentrated on farmer workers stability.This paper is to explore the problem that if the floating people can own a stability of occupation and its relationship with income.Through the analysis of micro-survey data,we find that the four factors of stability analysis show that the femininity is lower than that of male under the individual characteristic variable.The result of human capital is that the degree of education has a positive effect on the stability of employment;Employment environment factors in the labor insurance welfare factor is very significant;social factors in the regional factors also have a certain impact.The stability of the farmer workers in employment income is significantly higher than that of non-stable employment groups,the existence of gender wage income discrimination,age has a inverted U type relation with income,the influence of education level on low-income groups is not significant,the specificity of human capital of the farmer workers is not strong.In this regard,the corresponding policy recommendations are: to strengthen the social welfare of the farmer workers,strengthen vocational training,pay attention to the heterogeneity of the group,such as: gender,occupation discrimination.
