Cooperative learning is a new teaching method,which is in line with the needs of the curriculum revolution and development of society.At present,in physical education in universities in China,due to too much emphasis on training competitive ability,it has led to some one-sided guidance for students to pursue excellent records of studies.In this process,the development of the psychological quality of individual personality,such as cooperation consciousness and social ability,are ignored.In this thesis,investigator constructs the more efficient class by using cooperative learning activities,there are reasonable groups of students and intercourse activities among the members of the group.Students Learn basketball skills and theoretical knowledge in elementary basketball course of major of physical education to get better results of study and develop excellent psychological quality.Research methods used in this thesis are literature analysis,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and experimental methods.Based on the in-depth study of the theoretical basis and implementation guidelines of cooperative learning,combined with the training plan of the elementary basketball course of major of physical education in colleges,implement the experiment in the class 10 of the grade 2015 in Major of Physical Education in Beijing Sport University.The 24 students in the class were divided into the control group(group1)and the experimental group(group2).In the control group,the traditional teaching method of basketball class is adopted,and the experimental group adopts the cooperative learning method.The two groups of subjects before and after the implementation of the experiment were tested on their basic physical quality,basketball basic skills and basketball theory knowledge,and several questionnaire survey was conducted on four aspects of students' learning motivation,student's affective expression and cooperative spirit,class cohesion and student social behavior.The results of the experimental data are analyzed and summarized.The results are as follows:(1)In the elementary basketball class of major of physical education,both of the cooperative teaching method and the traditional teaching method can obviously improve the students' basketball skills.For the technical evaluation of the round-trip dribbling technique and five point shooting techniques,cooperative learning teaching method is better than the traditional teaching method.Cooperative learning helps the students to get well all aspects of technology and tactics in basketball,and not just that aspects of projects.(2)In the elementary basketball class of major of physical education in universities,the influence of cooperative learning method and traditional teaching method on students' professional theoretical knowledge is not significantly different.The reason is that theoretical examination is the form of open book examination,and the teaching hours are few.(3)In the elementary basketball class of major of physical education,compared with traditional teaching method,cooperative learning method is more helpful to improve the students' learning motivation level,strengthen their initiative.It will cultivate the sense of teamwork and students' social ability,students' communicative behavior,help students to understand how to deal with the relationship between cooperation and competition among peers.
