The CBA Research On The Competitive Balance

One of the main attractions of professional sports is the "uncertainty of results".In other words,sports fans are not sure who will win a game.This "uncertainty" is closely related to competition equilibrium.The more unpredictable the results of sporting events are,the more competitive the team will be in the league.A completely competitive basketball league will be the team in the league won the game can not be predicted,the strength of each team average.The more competitive The league is,the more exciting the game will be,and the more fans will enjoy watching them,the better the league will run.The development of the competitive balance of CBA is an indispensable part of the long-term development of the whole alliance.This paper takes the competitive equilibrium of CBA as the research object,this paper studies the equilibrium of CBA league in the 2005-2017 season by means of literature data,mathematical statistics,case analysis,comparative analysis and expert interview,and analyzes the factors that affect the equilibrium of CBA at the present stage.Make suggestions and promote the balanced development of CBA league.The results of the study are as follows: the development of(1)competitive equilibrium has far-reaching significance to the long-term development of CBA,the improvement of competitive equilibrium is beneficial to the development of the Alliance,and the improvement of the equilibrium has great impetus to the development of CBA market economy and the promotion of basketball in China.(2)By measuring Top K ranking,concentration and C5 ICB,we found that the competitive equilibrium of CBA is poor.(3)through the use of measurement of competitive balance,found that the North-South division of the system,as well as the number of team changes in the CBA competitive balance has a certain impact,the North-South division of the tournament led to the entire league competition density,resulting in the game did not start the results can be basically determined.The unfairness of the competition competition in the north-South region leads to the low overall equilibrium of the alliance.The analysis of top 2 ranking that the CBA league has a very low level of competition,the league Championship competition is very small,the other team for the championship is far behind.The position of the final circle has also been difficult to show new faces.The league overall CBA champion's index is low,the league champion competes for the competition equilibrium to be poor.After concentration and C5 ICB measurements,most of the league's points are in the hands of a handful of teams,with a strong and weak gap and low balance.(4)foreign aid policy has a great impact on the balance of the alliance,the "three foreign aid" policy can help the team from the top position to the top of the table,or even win the championship,the introduction of high-quality foreign aid to increase the uncertainty of the results of the game,Because of the different clubs sponsor funds directly lead to a great disparity between the team,resulting in the uncertainty of the results of the competition,affecting the overall competitiveness of the league.
