Poetry maintains the life and vitality of human existence.It also bears a heavy historical culture,rich emotion and profound meaning,which is the brilliant crystallization of literature and art.Our study of poetry has never ceased and has continued to this day.This is an important channel to inherit a long history and culture and spiritual civilization.The study of poetry teaching is not only to learn excellent culture,but also to enable students to enjoy the beauty and pleasure in poetry,to enrich the cultural accumulation of students and to improve the students' literary quality.Poetry,like many forms of literature,makes it difficult for the subject to understand and grasp the tenor of poetry and the information it conveys through the heavy hedge of time,which requires teachers to present relevant background knowledge in teaching to help students understand poetry.But in practical teaching,there are many problems in the application of background knowledge,such as the difficult to grasp the content of presentation,the single application of the subject,the difficulty of determining the presentation link and the single presentation.This paper,based on the series of problems existing in the teaching of junior middle school poetry teaching,collated and analyzed the literature of related research to determine the significance and value of the study,and reexamined the concept of background knowledge and made a new classification of it.Aiming at various classifications of background knowledge,this paper puts forward the basic principles that should be followed in the application of background knowledge in junior high school poetry teaching design.On the basis of following the basic principles,the procedure of the background knowledge used in the poetry teaching design are put forward: using various methods to extract the background knowledge of poetry;to determine the teaching objectives and to clarify the content of the background knowledge;to determine the presentation links and methods according to the content of the background knowledge.Finally,the validity of the background knowledge in the teaching design is tested by the post-class evaluation and the operation demonstration of the application of the teaching design strategy is carried out in the case of "Jiang Cheng Zi Mizhou Chu Lie".Through these strategies to solve theproblem of the application of background knowledge in the design of junior middle school poetry teaching,we expect to bring some inspiration and thinking to others and guide the teaching practice.
