Special education schools are institutions specially organized by the government,enterprises and institutions,social organizations,other social organizations and individual citizens to educate children and adolescents with disabilities in accordance with the law.Physical education is an indispensable and important part of compulsory education in our country.Because of the physical and mental particularity of students in special education schools,physical education has become an indispensable part of the curriculum of special education schools while promoting the all-round development of students.At the end of 2016,the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China launched the curriculum standards for three types of special schools for the first time.The introduction of the "new curriculum standards" makes up for the lack of curriculum standards for various types of special education schools in China.This is the first set of systematic learning standards for students with disabilities.It is the top-level design for the reform of special education in the 13 th Five-Year Plan and the coming period.Based on the author's practice,this study investigated five special education schools in Nanning City by using the methods of literature,interview,field investigation,observation and case analysis.The primary materials obtained through the collection,observation and interview of physical objects were studied from the background of physical education curriculum design in special schools,curriculum standards,teaching materials,educational environment,curriculum organization form,curriculum content,evaluation method and content,teacher analysis and so on special education curriculum design.It also introduces in detail the characteristic physical education curriculum in preschool stage of a school by case study,which provides reference for other schools in the groping construction.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)"New curriculum standard" has not yet been fully implemented.(2)The students ' ability and teachers ' experience remain the main basis of the current curriculum.(3)The outline of preschool education in special education schools is still in the blank.(4)The Teaching organization of physical education class in special education school is changeable and the class mode is not fixed.(5)The lack of venues and equipment hinders the development of physical education courses.(6)Lack of PE teachers and insufficient training of in-service teachers.(7)The competition plays a guiding role in the course content.In view of the above conclusions,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)strengthening the training density of the basic teachers on the "New Curriculum standard".(2)Enrich the variety of teaching materials and speed up the preparation of curriculum standard supporting textbooks.(3)Compiling the educational outline of preschool education and standardizing the preschool education of special education.(4)Strengthen the research on special Education school sports.(5)To increase the capital investment of Special Education School Sports(6)to set up the specialty of special education in colleges and universities.(7)Popularize the application of "new curriculum standard" in special education school and standardize the curriculum of physical education.
